Children’s Dental Exhibit Downtown Wilmington

  Giant toothbrushTeeth Model with Puppets
Our pediatric dental office recently celebrated a “floss cutting” for the Toothasaurus Exhibit at the Children’s Museum in downtown Wilmington, NC. Drs. Dimock, Weinberg and Cherry are proud sponsors of this fun and friendly learning exhibit that helps children become more acquainted with what they may experience at a dental visit. The Toothasaurus Exhibit showcases a real life dental chair complete with overhead light, a life-sized set of teeth, tooth diagrams, and giant toothbrushes. There are also books for children to read about going to the dentist, and tooth shaped stools to sit on. Our mouth monster puppet friends are always fun for children to play with too.

The exhibit helps kids learn that going to the dentist can be a fun experience. Being able to get hands on with a simulated dental office brings a sense of comfort to children who otherwise might be apprehensive. We’re proud to be a part of this educational opportunity for toddlers and school aged children in the southeastern North Carolina community.

We invite you to explore the Toothasaurus Exhibit with your children! The Children’s Museum of Wilmington is located on Orange Street, in downtown Wilmington, NC.
